Top Play
Washington-5 1/2.....Redskins may have found a team they can put up points against. Gibbs WILL be back next season, so Washington looks to finish strong. Glad to see Ramsey back in the lineup. He could look like a star today. Portis should have a big day also. The strength of Washington has been their defense.San Fran turns the ball over. That = an easy Skins victory. The rumors of Erickson's departure couldn't have helped preparation this week for the 49ers.

Small play
Steelers/Giants OVER 35......On paper, this looks like a Steelers rout, but i don't lay double digits on the road. Steelers could put up 30 here, but i believe Manning will begin improving, beginning today, and this offense could put up 17-20. It's about time Tiki Barber and the O Line helps the rookie out a little.

Sunday's plays later

LOVE this play as well!! Wash is 0-2 ATS as road fav's this year...NO WAY they go 0-3. Third times a charm here against the crappy Niners...DEFENSE and PORTIS I see a lot of today from the Skins!

NY Jets/Seattle OVER 40....No weather concerns here, 45 degrees, shouldn't rain till late afternoon. Alexander should be able to run against the Jets front 7. Pennington has a couple games under his belt since the injury and Curtis Martin runnning should be able to open up things for him. Should be an exciting game with plenty of turnovers and big plays. Another Seahawks shootout, in the 31-28 range.

Minnesota -3....Lions will battle hard as always, but it's becoming apparent that Harrington isn't the answer, and it may cost Millen his job. Look for the Lions to look for a veteran QB next yr. to lead this young team. Mcmahon could be playing today, which may be worse than Harrington. Miny will stack the line vs. Kevin Jones. As long as Tice has Moss receiving and not throwing, Vikes should put up points. Minny wins 27-13

Green Bay -3 1/2 (couple 3's out there)....gametime windchill below 0, no precip. Lookng for a BIG bounceback here for the Pack after struggling the last 2 games. Everybody knows about Favre in cold weather, but Green Bay's D might be the decisive factor in this one. Green Bay will clinch a WC berth with a win, and pretty much control their division destiny. Jacksonville has impressed me with their effort this yr, but talent will win out in this one. Green Bay wins, 23-7.

Tampa/New Orleans OVER 43 1/2....this total looks too easy, which is scary. Last meeting was 20-17 though. Everybody knows about the Saints pitiful D. They can yield 40 pts themselves any given week. Tampa's strength is in their secondary, but New Orleans is a big play offense and will usually connect a couple times in a given game. Believe they are good for 20 pts anyway. Greise had his best outing of the season last week vs. SD. is debut was against these same Saints in week 5 and he lit them up. Look for a big game from Pittman as well, running and receiving. this looks like a 34-27 type game.

Colts/Ravens UNDER 49.....Colts the classsic OVER team and the Ravens, a classic UNDER team. Most intriqing game of the week, imo. Storylines aplenty. Manning trying to break Marino's record. The Baltimore D trying to prevent it. The key to this game is on the other side of the football. This game rests on Boller and Jamal Lewis. Houston showed what the blueprint was in competing with Indy, but that is Baltimore's gameplan every week. Run the ball, move the sticks, scratch out points, time of possesion. Baltimore won't sway from this no matter what. Peyton and company will make their plays, but will have to earn every yard, every point. this one seems more like 20-17 to me.

ego74..

Good job with Saturday's card!

I like your Sunday card but disagree with your packer and TB/no selections, Favre and the packers will go up against one of the best defenses they have faced all season other than Washington and the Jags have a running game to control the clock, the AFC is head and shoulders better than the NFC this season and the Jags are in their best role as a doggie...I smell an upset in this game!!

I think the Tampa game will come in UNDER the total because the saints are playing on the road for the second straight week and also are on the road for the third time in four weeks and are playing on a grass surface which is not their strong suit, Tampa needs this game tooooooo much if they want a shot at a possible wildcard, I see a low scoring game with Tampa winning by 10 to 14 points....my guess is Tampa 24-13.

good call Deb and Ace, thought it was a sure over after the 2 quick scores early....2-3 on Sunday 44-32 on the season

Monday Night
New Eng/Miami OVER 42....Pats O clicking very nicely, but they still give up pts. Feeley has loked decent since starting again, think Miami may put up 21 here. spreadwise, pretty close to it, New Eng 34-21, imo/
